The battle with ISIS is not just a physical one armies are fighting with conventional weapons in which you can be the next casualty. This is not a scriptural response I agree we are told to love our enemies in the New Covenant . There is a spiritual war we are called to fight with the spiritual armour and weapons against the powers of darkness influencing ISIS and others. See Ephesians 6:10-18. Also we are to pray for all people to repent and be born -again. It is not God's will anyone would perish but rather repent.

The battle is the Lord's not yours.
Have God told you He can't fight?.
The battle is the Lord's not yours.
If you wanna die as a fool then go ahead but if you really care and love the Lord your God then take everything to him in prayer.
For the warpon of our warfare is not physical but is mighty through Jesus Christ for pulling down of any strong hold. Don't go and die foolishly kneel down and pray for the body of Christ.

I am a vet. When I was in the US Army I was ready and willing to fight. Now that I am older I thank God that I never saw combat. As a child I once prayed to God and asked to be on the front line with Jesus, face to face with Satin himself in the war against him. That I would still do if our lord asks. PRAISE GOD!!!

Our father dose not want blood shed from us he wants us to speard peace and love to the sick to the poor the tired, dear brother i see your pasion for the lord wanting to fight for him! But you can do that everyday by keeping the commandments and doing what jesus said
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone ;
Remember the commandmant thy shall not murder!it is gods right! To give life and take it away not ours! If certain people make you mad or other religons make you made dont hate them you can be angry! But show them love not hate we as christians are representing our father in heaven. It is important to think about this constantly! I am no angel im not trying to sound righteous. But i think your want to destroy evil has been twisted by the devil into killing people.
God bless you! Pray to the lord i beleive everybodys calling is achieve. By living through the word, you will find your path but remember your path should aline with the word

Killing another human being for whatever reason is a violation of God's law and is sin.
The only time killing is acceptable to God is when he is leading the army. The only reason this is allowed is because you would have to violate multiple other laws to go against God. He is not leading the soldiers of this war. It is considered wrong.

Ask yourself, "why?"
ISIS is made of followers of a false god whose teachings center around conquest, death and retribution.
The sixth commandment is directly translated as "no unrighteous killing".
Ask yourself if your actions would be "righteous", sneaking into a foreign country and fighting against these people, when you have not been asked by your government or your G-d. You likely haven't been given any special dispensations, so my guess would be " no".
ISIS will get what's coming to them, and it will be done in G-d's time - in this life or the next.

Dear brother in Jesus Chriat
Its natural that we want to fight our enemies because we have seen every day on madia about the wicked actions of ISIS but do you know who control all these things ? Satan, right so our chief enemy is satan n he is not flesh n blood like us but he fight us (redeem of God) through people like isis etc so we can't fight satan with our flesh n blood right ? The Bible says our battle is not against flesh n blood but against the evil spirit so you can't go to Siria to fight them but instead fall on your knees at the feet of Jesus repent from your sin accep Him as your personal Saviour and ask Him for power promis by Him before ascending to heaven to baptise with fire and Holy Spirit then you may go n pray preach this is the bes way to fight against them n you have to waith till God arm you with fire of the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus name Amen.

There are a lot of good responses here but I would have to wonder why anyone's first and strongest response to the evils we see others commit against innocence, is to kill.
It is also odd an American would want to join a foreign military to fight anyone.

To everyone: The time of being peacemakers to ISIS is passed ! These people won't stop till the whole world is under their feet! Let's pack our Bibles and our guns, get over there with a prayer from family and friends, and blast them back to the hell they came from!
