Mr/Mrs Sanjay, the bible never mentioned the days of the week during when our Father in heaven was doing the creation. My bible talks of the first day, second day, till the seventh day. And in Gensis 2:3 , God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it,because it was the day He rested after finishing all His work. From childhood,I've grown up knowing Monday as the first day of the week, and Sunday as the seventh. What we bind here on earth my dear,is bound in heaven. God's people chose Sunday as their Sabbath day,and so it is even to God who created all things. Thank you.

I got it. I thought I was gonna see something in that passage such as;he rose on Sunday which is the first day of the week or so. I went back to Mark 16:9, and I read the King James version, then I thought another version would say something a little different. So I took on the NIV,t'was all the same. That passage says, "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week,he apprared to Mary Magdalene". Sorry friend,i haven't seen the name of the day in that verse. You equally sent me back to my English dictionary which defines Sunday as the seventh day of the week. And continued that to some religion,it is the first day of the week. If you believe Saturday is the seventh day,it may not be that easy to convince you outa that,as well as convincing others who believe Sunday being the seventh. But what I know is Sunday. God has,and keeps using those who worship Him on Sunday to perform wonders through His power. I'm only giving my point of vew. Thanks alot for sharing with me. Stay blessed in Jesus' name, amen.

Thx bro 4 explation... If you really want to see Sunday as a first day of the week through the bible... You must see one time good news version bible..... There you can surely understand that Sunday is the first day of the week..... Nd about miracles nd wonders you have to see Mathew 7:21-23...

Ooooh! I must read the"One time good news version bible" to understand that Sunday is the first day? Well good,i guess you're not asking me to put aside my NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION BIBLE ,and MY original KING JAMES VERSION? But why don't you write down what the ONE TIME GOOD NEWS VERSION BIBLE explains about Sunday being the first day of the week. Umm,please if I May ask,are you a member of the Seventh Day Adventist? I know those people, their worship day is on a Saturday. I stopped my elder sister from reading a particular bible she had. Not all the verses corresponded. You know, the devil is cunning, but the chidren of God are wiser. Now talking about Matt 7:21-23, I know those verses. But I don't know how you wanna interpret it. Not all that say to me lord lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven. Do you believe in God's miracles and wonders? Well, when you live a total God fearing life,i believe you feel the power of God in you. So I'll try to be a wise Christ's follower, you should try as well. Peace be with you.

Sanjay just one thing I need from you okay. I am a Baptist. Please beloved, I want you to stop beating around the bush and give me a scriptural passage that clearly describes that Saturday is the Sabbath day. People shouldn't get confused by all those scriptures that talk of the Sabbath. There are just a whole lot. Now We're not talking about the Sabbath anymore okay. All I want you to do now,is to quote me a verse that clearly states that on SATURDAY THE SABBATH DAY, bla bla bla. That's all I want. You're not obliged to believe that the SABBATH DAY is a Sunday. But if you don't wanna believe, fine. Convince everyone with a verse in the bible, that gives the name of your Sabbath. Until I see that,i will not comment on this post again. Please don't lead the young Christians astray. God bless you beloved.
