I thank God I found this app, reading through the discussions is very inspiring. I read through the book of Mark 1, and it shows how necessary it is for us to sacrifice to be close to Jesus. It shows the efficacy of prayers. It shows the peer of baptism of the holy ghost, fire and water. It shows us that there are times we need to set ourselves aside, quieten our minds and environment and let God speak to us in any means even if through angels. I am glad I belong to Jesus, so do u you as you've taken out one to read this. Let us strive ro be fisgers of men and snatch men and wonen out of the mouth of hell. God bless you! PLEASE I AWAIT ANYONES RESPONSE TO THIS AND ANY MORE INTERPRETATIONS TO MATK 1. ☺😊

It also shows the great Love that God has for us, that he desires to make us better , to bring out the best in us. And we must be willing for it to work

The part that captures me in the book of Mark chapter one is verse 13. And Jesus was in wilderness fasting for FOURTY DAYS AND FOURTY NIGHTS. Maybe He could fast because He is God as some think. He was tempted there by Satan. You know, some Christians are so lazy that they can't even fast. Even for a day. Now many spend their time complaining of torments and afflictions, yet,do not fast. Some do not even want to be tested or tempted. You cannot say you're a child of God and the devil does not come to test you if you mean it. The moment you make the decision to turn away from sin,you become the enemy of the devil. If Satan could tempt Jesus our master, who are you not to be tempted? The good thing is we don't overcome temptations with our powers, but with the power of Jesus. Be wise in our Lord Jesus.
