I Did Something Wrong

I made one of the biggest mistakes ever about two weeks ago. I got caught for petty theft, items $10. I feel so guilty and remorseful. Last week I confessed my sins to God and surrendered to him and asked for forgiveness. I know that I will have to pay the price for my actions, and I am ready to do that and put this behind me. Our local paper puts all arrests in the paper, now one person from my work got the paper and is showing everyone and she's posting things about it on Facebook. I deleted my Facebook because of it, now other people are saying all kind of horrible things about me. So now not only do I have to worry about the court date and what will happen to me, losing my job, I have to worry about all the gossip. I have been praying hard. I am so sorry and I will never steal anything ever again. What are some scriptures that I can read to help me through this? Thanks.

Once you confessed your sins God forgave you and when you accepted Christ God embraced you. Keep God in your heart and let Him guide you. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only BEGOTTEN SON," . We're all sons and daughters and heirs with Him who God sent when we accept and believe.

Now if only the world leaders and politicians would enter confession for their sins against humanity....

Our God is Almighty Lord. He is the merciful Lord. Once we sincerely repent for the sins and do not commit it again, He will be with us forever. Give thanks to the Lord for His kindness. We are the chosen people. It is very importa t that we remain with Him and get the rewRd of eternal life to live with Jesus Christ forever and ever. Amen.

Amazing this forum, compliments of the new year children of god. Brethren remember before gods eyes we are perfect biengs made in his image and he loves us abundantly and beyond human understanding of the word love, also he proved that by giving his one and only son to to die and cleanse our sins. Stay and trust in God your father your creator at all times for he shall never forsake you at any hour, remember that the devil lurks in the darkness at all times to lead gods children astray, so stay in the light with Jesus if a temptation proves too powerful to resist just pray in that moment in your heart and your angel will lead you into the light.

You committed theft.
Don't steal. Stop it. Don't do it any more.
Next is to admit that you stole. "I got caught" is not an admission.
If you are a believer, you understand that you committed a sin not only against G-d, but also against the property owner.
While prayer may or may not ease your mind, seeking forgiveness from G-d, the person from whom you stole and others affected by your actions will go much farther.
