In the Bible it talks about men and they should wear their hair and for a man to have long hair it is offensive, but the images they show of Jesus have long hair. Jesus knowing that is it safe to say the the image they show of Jesus is incorrect and that Jesus hair was not long but shaved?

When I was child, many years ago now. I often found myself confused with the combination of how history was being taught within the most common venues here in America.
It often seemed (as I was to later learn) that the story teller would model the characters of their tell true or made up, after their own likeness.
As most of our Bible translations were written by white European's, those Eueopean's (often with long blond hair and blue eyes) would characterize those mentioned in the Bible with their own.
Although not much is said about Christ characteristics, there is enough to know that he did not look anything like most paintings you see today.
As far as how the length a person's hair matters or not, you should not forget that God spoke to the people of that time in a manner they would understand. At the same time there may still be value/relationship to us in our time.
Think more broader than what man chooses to teach you. Man more than often has purpose for what images he wants you to value. Seek the truth not seen on the surface. What God teaches, not what Man teaches.

This is something we should take a critical look at it
