Probable 98% of pastors will completely avoid this passage. It is part of the cost of liberiasm that has affected the church. This passage deals with the natural state of authority that God had place in the home and in the church. But like many other issues ( drinking, unmarried couples living together, women pastors, and now same marriage), churches are avoiding certain subjects to keep from offending and instead are creating their own interpretation instead of following the of the original greek manuscript, see romans one, latter part of that chapter. For the church to really enjoy the freedom that Christ had given us, we must live in the truth of God's word.

God talks about this throughout His Word, more in the Old Testament than the New. But here is the most blunt and to-the-point passage on this subject I could find.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
In contrast, 2 Cor 4:1-4 is another good passage to consider on this subject.
